What is Holidays in Hutto?
The City of Hutto and the Hutto Economic Development Corporation present Holidays in Hutto. Come enjoy a family friendly holiday event outdoors in a safe, controlled environment at Brushy Creek Amphitheater.
UPDATE: To coincide with the Hutto Downtown Christmas Fair and to allow for more community involvement outside of the Thanksgiving holiday, Holidays in Hutto at Brushy Creek Amphitheater has been moved to Saturday, December 12 (previously Saturday, November 28)! All tickets will be honored on the new date.
What safety measures are being taken?
The safety and well-being of our guests, staff and the community is of the utmost importance. All guidelines from the City of Hutto, Williamson County, State of Texas and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be strictly followed and enforced at all events.
Holidays in Hutto organizers are working closely with the City of Hutto and Williamson County to ensure that this family friendly event meets or exceeds all recommended Covid-19 standards. Social distancing will be enforced and all event staff will be wearing personal protective equipment, as required by CDC guidelines. Per Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order on July 2, face coverings are required for individuals age 10 and older in public areas. Guests will be required to wear face masks at Brushy Creek Amphitheater while entering, exiting and moving about the facility. Guests may remove masks when eating, drinking or sitting in their ticketed pod area.
The expansive Brushy Creek Amphitheater lawn has been divided into individual square pods measuring six feet by six feet and can accommodate up to four guests. Each pod has a six-foot safe and clear path surroundings all sides.
Holidays in Hutto staff are consistently monitoring the rapidly changing guidelines and will update procedures as necessary for the series. As new information presents itself, this web page will be updated accordingly.
What happens in the case of bad weather?
All Holidays in Hutto are rain-or-shine events. However, safety is top priority. In the event of inclement weather, event management may decide to delay the performance or make necessary arrangements to keep everyone safe. Important updates will be communicated through Brushy Creek Amphitheater and City of Hutto social media platforms.
What is the difference between postponed and cancelled?
Should a particular show be postponed for any reason, all tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the rescheduled date. Details will be communicated via email and through Brushy Creek Amphitheater and City of Hutto social media platforms.
Should a show be cancelled, all tickets purchased will be refunded in a timely manner. Details will be communicated via email and through Brushy Creek Amphitheater and City of Hutto social media platforms.
What happens if a stay at home order is mandated for Williamson County and/or the City of Hutto?
If a potential stay at home order results in the postponement of any event, they will be rescheduled for the earliest possible date. All tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the rescheduled date. Details will be communicated via email and through Brushy Creek Amphitheater and City of Hutto social media platforms.
What if assistance is needed during the event?
Guests with questions or concerns are encouraged to notify the nearest staff member. Medics will be on-site during the event. Should a guest experience an emergency, they are encouraged to first call 911 before notifying the nearest staff member or medic.
Where is Lost & Found located?
Lost and Found will be located at the Entry Box Office.
Should a family become separated, please go straight to the box office and alert the officer on duty.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting Brushy Creek Amphitheater, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
What is a pod? How can groups sit together in a controlled setting?
Although individual tickets are being sold, to maintain proper social distancing and limited capacity guidelines, the Brushy Creek Amphitheater lawn will be divided into six-foot by six-foot pods that can hold up to four guests. Parties of five or more are encouraged to arrive early to secure side-by-side pods. Pods are available on a on a first come, first served basis the day of the event. Each pod will have a six-foot safe path surrounding all four sides.
Pod ticket types are the following:
- VIP six-foot by six-foot pod for four in rows 3-8
- GA six-foot by six-foot pod for up to four in row 9+
Please note, children under the age of two do not count toward the maximum number of people allowed in one pod.
VIP tickets include access to an exclusive bar with liquor plus premium beer and wine for sale to all VIP pod guests. Guests in non-VIP pods will have access to purchase beer and wine only.
Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets (see clear bag policy below), but they must fit inside the six-foot by six-foot footprint of the pod. If guests need to leave their pod, they must abide by the directional signage for each row.
Can pods be reserved in advance?
Pods are available on a first come first serve basis. As noted above, large groups using multiple pods are suggested to arrive early and at the same time to claim pods side by side. Pods cannot exceed a maximum capacity of four guests.
Are onsite tickets available for sale?
Yes, tickets are available for purchase onsite. However, guests are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets ahead of time to practice safe social distancing.
Can tickets be upgraded the day of the event?
Yes, ticket upgrades will be available onsite based on availability.
What if ticket(s) cannot be used?
All sales are final and there will not be refunds, except in the event of a cancellation, as outlined above.
How will tickets be received?
Tickets will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. Any questions can be directed to email@example.com.
What is the best way to present each ticket upon arrival?
Tickets can be printed at home or saved to a mobile device to be scanned upon arrival.
Is re-entry allowed?
Yes, venue re-entry is permitted, but subject to security check upon entry each time.
Clear bag policy:
Holidays in Hutto will have a clear bag policy for this event. There are no size limitations but only one clear bag is allowed per person. Please note, blankets and lawn chairs do not have to fit inside the clear bag.
Parking: Is there a fee to park? Is there a designated rideshare location?
Parking is an additional $2.50 fee automatically accounted for each ticket purchased at checkout.
Rideshare drop off and pick up locations will be visibly marked onsite.
- Entry – Use the North entrance and follow signs to Rideshare drop off
- Exit – Use South entrance and follow signs to Rideshare drop off
Is tailgating permitted?
To provide a safe parking flow for guests and staff at these events, tailgating is not permitted. The event itself will provide guests with the “tailgate experience” in each socially distanced pod.
Will restrooms be available?
Restrooms, operating at a limited capacity, will be available for use and guests who need to use the facilities must follow social distancing restrictions and instructional signs. All restrooms will be monitored by a housekeeping attendant to ensure surfaces are cleaned thoroughly and often.
Can outside food and beverages be brought in?
No, outside food or beverages are not allowed inside the venue.
Will food and beverages be available for purchase?
Yes, food and beverages will be sold onsite with all employees adhering to strict CDC, TABC, State of Texas and general health code guidelines. Please practice safe social distancing while in line for food and beverages. VIP pods include access to an exclusive bar with liquor plus premium beer and wine for sale to all VIP pod guests. Guests in non-VIP pods will have access to purchase beer and wine only.
Will merchandise be available for purchase?
Yes, event specific merchandise will be sold onsite.
Are cameras allowed?
Only standard point-and-shoot cameras will be permitted inside the venue. Cameras with detachable lenses, Go-Pros and/or any other professional audio, video and/or digital recording devices are prohibited.
Is smoking, vaping and the use of e-cigarettes allowed?
Yes, however, guests are asked to please be courteous to members of all neighboring pods.
Are pets allowed?
Only certified services animals will be permitted inside the venue and valid paperwork must be presented upon entry.
The following items and activities are prohibited at this event and failure to follow these guidelines may result in ejection from the event:
- Advertising, selling or promoting any third-party product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items)
- Amplified sound systems
- Backpacks, purses, coolers, etc. (any non-clear bag is prohibited)
- Concealed carry not permitted
- Disorderly conduct
- Drones and any remote-controlled electronics
- Grills or fryers
- Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia and illegal substances
- Prescriptions must match name of holder’s legal ID card
- Kerosene lamps or open flames of any kind
- Laser pointers
- Mobile totems/flags
- Noisemakers and bullhorns
- Tents or shade structures
- Selfie sticks
- Weapons of any kind
Are handguns permissible on the premises?
Pursuant to Section 30.06 Penal Code (Trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun) and Section 30.07 Penal Code (Trespass by a license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411 Government Code (Handgun License Law), may not enter this property with a concealed handgun or a handgun that is carried openly.
